Irrawaddy Taste of Burma is family run and owned restaurant featuring Burmese cuisine from Co-Owner & Chef Banny Hong. Growing up in Burma now known as the country of Myanmar, Banny wanted to share the his families traditional recipes and popular items that you can only find in Burma. The cuisine is inspired by its neighboring nations but its truly its own unique flavors, that must be tried. The majority of the dishes are prepared from scratch from raw whole ingredients focusing on healthy and light dishes.
If you are wanting to understand more about the Burmese cuisine and our restaurant see what the LA Times had to say about us.
